De storage van VMWare is weer stabiel. De beheerders van geraakte servers zijn gecontacteerd en voor zover bekend zijn deze servers weer operationeel.

 Alle datastores zijn weer online na de onderbreking. 15% van de virtual machines is geraakt door de onderbreking. De meeste servers zijn gecontroleerd en in orde bevonden. De werkelijke onderbreking duurde minder dan 2 minuten maar de impact op de getroffen virtual machines kan langer zijn geweest.

De herstelwerkzaamheden voor de regio's Rotterdam en Noord-Holland zijn nog in volle gang. De storing is te herleiden tot problemen met de connectiviteit tussen een aantal van onze masten en het datacenter.

Onze technische teams onderzoeken momenteel de exacte oorzaak van deze connectiviteitsproblemen. We werken met de hoogste prioriteit aan een oplossing.

De volgende update volgt om 15:30 uur.

The recovery efforts for the Rotterdam and North Holland regions are still ongoing. The issue has been traced to connectivity problems between several of our towers and the data center.

Our technical teams are currently investigating the root cause of these connectivity issues. We are working with the highest priority to resolve the problem.

Sinds 09:20 uur constateren we, na handelen van onze technici op locatie, dat het voor het grootste deel van de gebruikers weer mogelijk is om te bellen en dat het internetverkeer zich herstelt. De impact is geleidelijk aan het afnemen. We zien wel in de regio Rotterdam en een deel van Noord-Holland dat klanten nog steeds problemen ondervinden. We zijn druk bezig om ook dit te herstellen.  Verder monitoren we nauwlettend de stabiliteit van ons netwerk totdat de impact volledig is weggenomen.

Odido has provided us with another update:
Since 9:20 AM, after action by our on-site technicians, we have observed that most users are able to make calls again and that internet traffic is recovering. The impact is gradually decreasing. However, we are seeing that customers in the Rotterdam region and parts of North Holland are still experiencing issues. We are working hard to resolve this as well. We are also closely monitoring the stability of our network until the impact is fully resolved.
